What we collect
Nothing. Afterglow and every other Identopic Games title run entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-ins, and no profiles.
Specifically, our games contain none of the following:
- Analytics or usage-tracking software
- Advertising, ad networks, or advertising identifiers
- Crash-reporting or telemetry services
- Social media integrations or login providers
- Location services
- Access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera
- Cookies or cross-app tracking of any kind
Information stored on your device
Your progress, scores, and settings are saved locally on your device so the game remembers where you left off. This information never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it.
Purchases
If you buy one of our games or anything inside one, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. Payment happens through your Apple Account, and Apple never gives us your card details, billing address, or contact information. We receive only aggregate sales figures — how many copies sold in which countries — with nothing that identifies an individual buyer.
Apple's own handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this one.
If you email us
When you write to us for support, we receive your message and your email address, because that's how email works. We use it to answer you and nothing else. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't pass your address to anyone.
Children
Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. Our games are safe to hand to a child without a data-privacy conversation attached.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase. If you'd like that confirmed in writing, email us and we'll confirm it.
Changes to this policy
If we ever build something that does need to collect data, we will update this page before that version ships, change the date at the top, and say plainly what changed and why. We won't quietly start collecting things.
